Sul sito ufficiale di Acer UK, è apparso il comunicato ufficiale legato alla presentazione del nuovo Acer Liquid, il primo smartphone della casa taiwanese, basato sul sistema operativo Android. Ecco alcune righe tratta dalla pagina ufficiale:

In questa descrizione iniziale dunque, Acer conferma quelle che erano state le indiscrezioni iniziali ovvero: il potentissimo processore dalla serie Qualcomm SnapDragon, con una frequenza di clock di ben 1GHz, Android 1.6 Donut, interfaccia grafiac completamente ridisegnata da Acer, in grado di integrare oltre alle funzioni di web browsing, anche la connessione diretta con i siti più visitati ed i social network, come: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picasa, ecc. è stata inoltre introdotta la possibilità di vedere ed acoltare audio e video in streaming, grazie ad una nuova applicazione.

Il nuovo terminale, oltre a godere di un permonte processore, sarà equipaggiato da un ampio display Wide VGA, in grado di offire all’ utente prestazioni soprendenti, non solo legati all’ utilizzo in web browsing ma anche per i giochi in 3D (pienamente supportati dal potente Snapdragon). Tra le varie qualità, Acer tende a sottolineare un notevole miglioramento delle prestazioni della batteria, garantendo dunque un’ autonomia superiore alla media.
