Interessante svolta da parte del produttore Sony Ericsson, stando alle ultime indiscrezioni da poco trapelate sul web, sembrerebbe che dal 2012 sparirà il brand Ericsson dal marchio.
Secondo quanto riportato dal Times of India, sembrerebbe che un alto dirigente di Sony abbia confermato l’ acquisizione del marchio Ericsson da parte di Sony, a partire dalla metà del prossimo anno quindi, i nuovi device porteranno il solo brand Sony.
Quello che vediamo in alto è un render che ci mostra come brandizzati i prossimi device del produttore, ovviamente non si tratta di un’ immagine ufficiale ma semplicemente un lavoro di photoshop, ad ogni modo ecco il testo apparso sul Times of India:
A lot of planning goes into getting the branding right but we will be done by middle of next year. It will also mean that the marketing and advertising investments will go up. We haven’t been as fierce as we were a few years back but we will step it up, refocus and invest more in brand-building in select markets and India is one of those markets,” Kristian Tear, executive VP & head of sales & marketing, Sony Ericsson told TOI
